November 5, 2017 - Happy 5th Birthday Kassidy!

It's always a strange feeling when November 5th comes around. I am joyful to celebrate Kassidy's short life and how much meaning she had to us. I am sorrowful that we didn't get a chance to truly know the person she is. With it being her 5th birthday, I imagine she would be an energetic preschooler running around with her three younger siblings.

Grief certainly stays around. Most of the time it hides, but sometimes it appears and hurts just as bad as the day I held her. Life moves on, and as a mother you are stretched between two realities. I am both stuck in a place where I am still grieving my daughter - yet I am also happy and raising my three other children.

Carrying Kassidy in 2012 after her anencephaly diagnosis was uncommon, controversial and rewarding. In a world where life is often viewed as a mistake after an abnormality is discovered, especially one where abortion is pushed since she wouldn't have a chance to live anyways....I am glad I gave her the longest life possible.

Today at 4:16pm, the time she was born, we will do our annual balloon release at the cemetery.
We love and miss you Kassidy! How did 5 years go by so fast?

Here are some updated photos of our family for my followers:
Steven is now 4 years old, Beau is 2.5 and Paige turned 1 last week!

November 5, 2016 - Happy Birthday Kassidy, Welcome Baby Paige!

Happy 4th Birthday to our daughter, Kassidy! It's hard to believe that it has been four years since we held you in our arms. November 5th will always be a bittersweet day for us as parents. It was the most difficult year of my life and it had such a profound effect on me as a person and a mother. I knew when we decided to carry an anencephaly baby to term that it wouldn't be easy. Every day would be both a blessing and a hardship. Not knowing when you'd be born, if you'd live a short time, or if I'd have time to tell you how much I love you. When you did arrive at 4:16pm on November 5th, 6 weeks early, the absence of your cries told me that you'd already joined God. I was overcome with relief- for you were home, safe, and healed. Every day since your passing I have thought of you and who you might have been. Can you imagine us now? We'd have a 4 year old, a 3 year old, a 1 year old and a newborn. You'd have a little sister to play with...

Which brings me to introduce our newest rainbow baby: Paige Blakely Johnston. She was born just 1 week ago on October 29, 2016. At a surprising 9lbs 9oz and 20 inches, she has stolen our hearts! I've always said that the death of a daughter has made me ache for one even more. I am feeling blessed! She is here, she is healthy, she is a gift. The boys adore her! I know Kassidy has watched over us and rejoiced with us as each rainbow baby has arrived.

Steven is now a wild 3 year old, and Beau is 20 months!

August 21, 2016 - Healthy Baby GIRL

I can't believe it has taken me this long to sit down and update my blog that we are expecting a healthy baby girl! On June 2nd, our 5th wedding anniversary, we found out that we have been blessed with not only a healthy baby again, but a GIRL! I burst into happy tears at the appointment when we were told the news. We are naming her Paige Blakely. To go from losing a girl to having 2 boys in a row, a girl is just a dream come true.

Here she is, our precious chubby Paige. She is due October 27th. We are hoping to have her here by Kassidy's 4th birthday on November 5th so we can all celebrate together.

The boys are doing great. Steven is about to turn 3 years old, and Beau is almost 18 months.

Steven is still obsessed with dinosaurs. He loves watching Jurassic Park and Jurassic World and playing with dinos everywhere we go (he carries them with him). Beau loves cars, dogs and trains. He is talking more and more each day. We are getting ready to go on our annual beach trip to San Diego and visit Legoland. It'll be a nice way to relax before Paige makes her debut. Going from 2 to 3 kids will be interesting!

May 7, 2016 - When I Became a Mother

My first baby was a gift from God. Blessed with beautiful hands, perfect kissable lips, chubby cheeks…Kassidy was my lesson on life and even death, while trusting in His plan.

My husband and I were at my scheduled 12 week appointment at my OB, when they couldn’t find our baby’s heartbeat with a Doppler. An ultrasound a few minutes later showed a little heart beating away, but also indications that something wasn’t right. I broke down into tears when we were told that our baby had an omphalocele, and that we were being referred to a specialist. Our first baby’s organs were growing in a sac on the outside of her body. It was a severe case. I struggled to eat and sleep awaiting my specialist appointment 3 days later. We arrived, sat for a long and tedious ultrasound and waited in a quiet room for an hour before the doctor emerged with news that was even worse than we could have ever imagined.

“Your baby’s omphalocele is close to the size of the baby itself.” I couldn’t breathe. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. The doctor continued, “That is the least of your worries. Your baby has anencephaly.” She explained that our baby’s skull did not develop. Her brain was exposed, she had no chance of life outside of the womb, and that my amniotic fluid would slowly damage her brain. I felt so confused. How could this be happening? This kind of stuff didn’t happen to people I knew, let alone me. What were my options? The doctor said it was up to me. 90%+ cases of anencephaly were aborted, but carrying the baby wouldn’t cause any health concerns to me. There were no treatment options, just comfort care. I was told I’d most likely miscarry.

I prayed, cried, prayed and cried. I knew every life is precious and God’s plan. There was a reason this was happening to me. I was chosen to be this baby’s mother. We told my OB that we were carrying this baby to term. The following months consisted of doctor’s appointments, loss of sleep, anger even, and planning for my daughter’s death. I began to focus on memory making. Scheduling a photographer to come to the hospital after her birth, choosing her one and only dress, journaling my emotions and reaching out to mothers of anencephaly angels consumed me. Then, I began to feel her kicking. She didn’t do it very often, but when she did, I felt complete unconditional love for the little girl I had been given. I looked forward to seeing her face.

At about 28 weeks along, we met a local neonatologist that had experience with anencephalic babies. We were told that after seeing my ultrasounds that our baby had less than 30% of her brain, which typically would indicate that if our baby were born alive, she wouldn’t be able to see, hear, feel any pain, or feel anything at all. To this day, I can’t decide if that information made me feel better or worse.

On Halloween 2012, I was sitting in my driveway handing out candy to all of the trick-or-treaters. I thought about Kassidy and how she would never get the chance to trick or treat. I was having contractions all evening, and thought it may be because of my emotions and that maybe I needed to drink more water. It was clear by mid-morning on November 1st that I needed to go to the hospital. I was having painful back labor and dehydration. I wasn’t admitted until November 2nd, and labored for several days while being monitored for infection since my water was leaking. I was given Pitocin and an epidural, and Kassidy was born on November 5th.

At about 2:30pm, the nurses told me that it was time to begin pushing. I asked for one last heartbeat check on Kassidy, then they found her heart beating strong. That was the last time I heard her heartbeat. I pushed an exhausting 2 hours, since she didn’t have a skull, there was no pressure on my cervix. At 4:16pm, Kassidy was born sleeping. She was only 2lbs 11oz and 12.5 inches long. My husband baptized her, and a photographer came in and took our first and only family photos with her. Our families visited, took turns holding her, and our Priest also visited and prayed with us. I felt relief for the first time since her initial diagnosis. I knew she was safe and with God. Her entire time on earth was with me. She knew my love, she was never cold, never hungry, never alone. I was a MOTHER.

Kassidy wore a gown and a hat the whole time we held her, and she looked like a typical premature baby girl. She was wrapped in blankets and held her grandfather’s rosary in her hand. We left the hospital the next day, and immediately made funeral arrangements. It was very difficult to leave the hospital empty handed.

On November 10th, we laid Kassidy to rest. It rained that morning, but it was a beautiful and peaceful day. I had a feeling of…”what now?” when I arrived at home later that evening. Grief presented itself in unexpected ways the days, weeks and months that followed. I felt guilty when I would smile or laugh, as I didn’t feel it was right to do so when my daughter wasn’t there. It dawned on me one day that Kassidy would want me to be happy. I knew she was watching over us all the time, even when were surprised with another pregnancy just 10 weeks later.

My first rainbow baby, born just 10 months and 9 days after Kassidy, was a little healthy boy named Steven. He is a miracle. He healed me of the pains of being a mother with no baby on earth. He is now an energetic 2.5 year old toddler that loves dinosaurs and counting to ten. My second healthy rainbow boy, Beau, is now a 14 month old chunk of snuggly love who loves music. My third rainbow is due in October. I feel immensely blessed and thankful for each one of my four children.

Kassidy made me a mother, she made me stronger in my faith and taught me to value and protect all life, no matter any diagnosis. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. Those who have children on earth or children in heaven, and even to women who have mothers on earth and mothers in heaven. Being a mother is not easy, but it is worth it a million times over. Being a mother is the true definition of unconditional love.

April 27, 2016 - Healthy NT Scan for new Baby

Our new baby received a clean bill of healthy at my NT Scan almost 2 weeks ago. Baby is measuring right on track with a heartrate of 173. We were a bit surprised to be told they are 80% sure this baby is a girl. I feel so overwhelmed with emotion at the thought of a girl. We are so used to being boy parents and a baby girl would be such a blessing! We will find out for sure at my anatomy scan on June 2nd. We scheduled the scan to be on our 5th wedding anniversary.

Our growing family is doing well! Steven is quite talkative nowadays and Beau follows every move his big brother makes. It is wild have a 1 year old and a 2 years old, I always remind myself that if Kassidy were here that we would also have a 3 year old! Oh my!

Here I am visiting Kassidy on Easter:

February 4, 2016 - I choose happiness.

Hello Friends,

Life is good, God is good, and here we are at the beginning of 2016 looking to celebrate Beau's first birthday at the end of February! I can't believe that he is already walking and talking.

Kassidy has been on my mind, mostly because of the holiday season and my mind wanders to imagine what things would be like with one more toddler in the mix. Her existence only enhances my appreciation for our healthy family and friends. Watching the boys open presents on Christmas morning and eat French toast, watching Steven run around with a noisemaker on New Year's Eve, and seeing Beau take his first steps on January 24th have been constant reminders that she is our guardian angel. I remember that during my pregnancy with Kassidy and the time after she was born thinking, "I may never get through this. I want to go with her." I wish I would have known the happiness that was just around the corner. I attribute this feeling to God and that if I hadn't kept my faith in His plan, that I may not have gotten to this point.

I also had to dip down into these emotions on December 18, 2015. December 18th by itself is the anniversary of Kassidy's due date. It also happens to now be the day I miscarried our most recent pregnancy. It happened so fast, and without much time to build excitement or celebration of another life. I found out I was pregnant on December 13th...and was told the next day by a nurse practitioner that only 1 of 3 pregnancy tests at the doctor's office showed positive. That was a sign my pregnancy hormone wasn't very high. I had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. 2 blood tests that week revealed that I would miscarry. I felt angry. Hadn't I dealt with enough? I had a miscarriage in 2011, a few months before I got pregnancy with Kassidy. So this would be my 3rd loss overall. My doctor and I noticed a trend in low progesterone with 4 of my 5 pregnancies....so now I am on a progesterone supplement. I just felt...mad. empty. upset.
It took a few weeks, but then I realized - God is in control, I shouldn't worry, I should just trust Him. I let go of the negative feelings and viewed 2016 as a clean slate.

Steven: 2.5 years old, strong-willed, loves Dinosaurs more than life itself, and is an animal person.
Beau: 11 months old, lovey dovey, wants to cuddle and be held all the time, copies big brother and is my mini-me.

Today, I choose happiness. I choose my family and God.

November 5, 2015 - Happy 3rd Birthday Kassidy!

It seems impossible for it to be three years already.
I carried you for 34 weeks, until God called you home and  I held your body in my arms.
You had perfect lips, designed for saying your first words. You had perfect hands, molded for holding ours as we would swing you. You had perfect feet, meant to be walked down the aisle by your father one day. Instead, we held you for 21 hours. Family and close friends visited, we prayed, and the next day I left the hospital empty handed.

Kassidy, although your time on earth with us was too short, we love and appreciate your presence in our lives. We've learned so much about life and death, what is important and what has little meaning in the big picture. We love you.

October 26, 2015 - Countdown to Kassidy's Birthday

Just a short 10 days to go until Kassidy's 3rd birthday. I have been up and down the past few weeks as I reflect on my time with her. I'm going to change up the tone for this blog post and share some exerts from my journal I kept when I was pregnant with her, and had recently found out about her fatal anencephaly:

June 5, 2012 (before we knew she had anencephaly)
"12 week appointment today. Found problem with baby, referred to a specialist. Had ultrasound. They said baby has omphalocele. Also mentioned head is abnormal."

June 8, 2012 (day we found out diagnosis)
"Appointment showed baby's skull didn't develop. Baby will not survive. I feel crushed, disappointed, and sad. Family being very supportive."

June 9, 2012 (day after diagnosis, shared information beyond just family)
"Hardly sleeping, hardly eating, feel sick all the time. Sad, feeling sorry for myself. Very scared."

June 10, 2012
"Today I began feeling angry. Angry that it happened to me."

June 18, 2012
"Since finding out, I hate my job. I hate being around people. I hate seeing babies there. I hate my tasks. Everything seems meaningless in the big picture."

June 27, 2012
"It's a girl! I love her so much, I saw her moving on the ultrasound. Doctor says I probably won't make it to my 3rd trimester. Baby girl was 2 weeks behind in measurement. I'm feeling accepting and thankful for this baby."

June 29, 2012
"Today we decided to name her Kassidy Briana."

July 4, 2012
"Each day I feel more and more anxious to meet my little girl. I know in my heart that she feels our love and I'm glad she will go peacefully with God."

July 11, 2012
"I got a doppler today. Found her heartrate between 148-155. My sweet little angel is okay."

July 13, 2012
"I'm going through a jealousy phase of people who have healthy pregnancies and children. Why don't we get to keep our daughter?"

July 20, 2012
"Today I bought Kassidy a pink dress to wear in her pictures. It's beautiful."

September 26, 2013 - Busy, but Happy!

Hello friends,
Just stopping in to post some pictures of our sweet family. We are basking in the busy family life. Our house is always covered in toys, our car is littered with fruit loops, and the boys always have messy faces...but we are happy and healthy!

What's new with us? Steven just turned 2 years old!!!!! Tomorrow, Beau will be 7 months. They are beginning to really play with each other and entertain themselves. Steven loves dinosaurs and cars, Beau loves chewing...on...everything. He just got his first 2 teeth! We've been stuck in party mode recently because 3 of Big Stevie's brothers are getting married within 3 months.
I've been wrapping up my house decorating efforts (I've been in a decorating phase for a few months) and moving on to just house maintenance. Having kids is way messier than I would have ever imagined. Laundry is never done. Especially because I have two in cloth diapers!

Luckily, I am still able to reach out and help other anencephaly mothers with this blog. I was shocked just now to read the stats on my blog that over 33,000 people have viewed it. Even today, I had some viewers from Alaska...how funny! Kassidy's 3rd birthday is in a little over a month. How is that even possible? I was just holding her!

God bless!

August 9, 2015 - Heart for a Daughter

Hello Friends, Life as a mom of 2 boys has surely kept me busy and far from blogging, but I am back and ready to update you all.
Kelsey Johnston's photo.

Steven will be TWO years old next month! He enjoys playing outdoors, "ROAR"ing with his dinosaurs and pushing around his little cars. As of late, he has gotten freakishly good at putting together puzzles. He is my strong-willed child, stubborn and every bit the typical 2 year old. He loves snacking on fruit snacks and riding along in a wagon or a laundry basket as I push him around the house. Anything Disney makes this kid happy.

Beau is now 5 months old! He sits up on his own, is loving baby food and grabbing his toes. He is a mama's boy for sure, if he sees me, he wants me to hold him. I've been blessed with an easy baby finally who sleeps through the night, eats well, and will deliver a smile with no effort from me to bring it out.

I've recently joined the YMCA where I've been working out consistently for the first time in my life! It gives me a break from the boys (and vice versa). Physically, I am feeling great! I enjoy being a stay at home mom and without the amazing support and help from Big Stevie, I wouldn't have achieved this blessed life. At church this morning, I went through my prayers after the Eucharist. "Thank you for my husband- he is such a hard worker and loving father to our children. Thank you for my beautiful three babies, especially Kassidy, whom I am still honored to be her mother and carried her for 34 priceless weeks. I am truly loved by you to be chosen as her mother." I mean this prayer, I say it every week!

My heart aches for a girl. Some day, I know we will have a girl. In His time - so I will patiently wait for her. Kassidy will never be replaced, she is her own unique person and already has a spot in my heart forever, and more importantly, a spot in Heaven. Her 3rd birthday is in a few months. I can't believe it. I don't know what went quicker- my pregnancy with her or this time after her.

My mom sent me an article a few weeks ago that discussed how to write a book. From the beginning, I wanted to write a book about Kassidy. There is only one short book about an anencephalic baby, to my knowledge, so I feel like there is a big enough audience if I want to write a chapter book. Reading the tips in the article about how to get started really inspired me. I do feel like a book of mine will be published one day, maybe not in the next 5 years, but maybe 10? 15? Either way, as long as it happens, I know it's my calling.

Life is good, God is good. Kassidy is still very much alive in my heart. When her brothers get big enough to understand, it will be nice to teach them that Heaven is wonderful and that she is watching over them every day!

March 20, 2015 - Introducing...Beau!

Our second rainbow baby boy, Beau Martin, arrived on February 27, 2015 at 8:05am! He was 8lbs 8oz and 20 inches. He surprised us all by being born 9 days after his due date, yet being smaller than big brother Steven was (8lbs 15oz) at 1 week early.

'World, meet Beau Martin Johnston!
8:05am on Feb 27th. 8lbs 8oz and 20 inches' 'I wuv him. He made me wait 9 days past my due date and endure a 30 hour labor...but he was worth it! A million times!'

The family is adjusting well and every day Steven warms up to him a little bit more. Big sister Kassidy is watching over us once again, as Beau is as healthy as can be and a happy baby that smiles often.

'Steven - 17 months old, Beau - 8 days old'  'Beau - 8 days old'
'Beau visited Kassidy for the first time...and Steven decided to have a fit about getting his picture taken. Haha'

January 9, 2015 - Relying on Him

Lately I find myself reflecting on my experience with Kassidy and how it changed me as a person. Receiving her diagnosis and carrying her an additional 5 months knowing her life would end was -and still is- the most difficult thing I have ever done. Did it really happen to me? I felt so desperate that summer as I did nothing but pray. I couldn't do anything else. I recall that I never asked God to save her or heal her. I just prayed for her. In tragic situations, that's all we can do. It's been two years since we lost her. I am 34 weeks pregnant with my second healthy son! Now that I have had time to grieve and to enjoy Steven (who is almost 16 months old), I continue to feel that God chose us for this path. We were meant to lose a daughter, and that's okay. I know in my heart that He has a plan. I trust in His plan! And I will see Kassidy again one day!!!

I always felt that when my daughter died, a part of me died with her. Only recently have I realized that when she was born, a part of me was born too! I am much closer to God, much more trusting and I know when my strength fails, He is there.

I pray that my delivery with Beau goes smooth, both God and Kassidy will be watching over our little family.
Kelsey Johnston's photo. Feeling achey, but otherwise great! Ultrasound in 6 days to check his size again. Then another at 38 weeks to see if I am advised for a csection...praying I can have this big boy natural!

December 5, 2014 - Holidays & awaiting Beau's arrival!

Christmas is just around the corner and I find myself getting so excited for Steven to make his first childhood memories. He finds and points at the Elf on the Shelf (ours is named Hermey), pulls ornaments off the tree and places them in a different spot and will also look out of the car window to see Christmas light decorations. Just a few days ago, he visited Santa...it didn't go as well as last year, haha!
I promise I've been good, Santa!

Steven is almost 15 months old now. He says more and more words each day, but the most frequent ones we hear are "Mama, Dada, Ball, Bite, Dog, Mmm (meaning 'Moo')" He will tap on the pantry door when he wants snacks, crawl through the dog door when he wants to go outside, and loves to make messes for mommy!

Kelsey Johnston's photo. Happy Thanksgiving from the Johnstons! Geez! That smile!!!!

Beau is due in 75 days! It's hard to believe we are 3/4 of the way done with the pregnancy, but I feel much more excited about having a baby this time around. When I was pregnant with Steven, I had never experienced a "good outcome" birth or taken a baby home. Now that I've gone through a year with a baby and have proven to myself that it IS possible to be happy after loss, I am SO excited for Beau to arrive! My pregnancy with Steven was full of worry, this pregnancy has been full of joy. We are adding some finishing touches to Beau's nursery nowadays and organizing his clothes. I have a baby shower next month with my sister-in-law who is also expecting a boy 5 days after me!

I dearly miss Kassidy around the holidays. Since her passing was in November, I was still very much in the worst stage of grief around the time I wanted her closest. I do feel that she watches over us daily and that Steven and Beau wouldn't be here without her existence. A few days ago Stevie and I set up  a solar Christmas tree for her at her grave. It has purple and blue ornaments and stands about 2 feet tall, I'm so glad we can leave something beautiful for her.

November 5, 2014 - Happy 2nd Birthday Kassidy

Kelsey Johnston's photo.

My daughter. My only girl. My first baby. You were my sweetest hello and my hardest goodbye. Reflecting on my pregnancy with you and your birth brings me such bittersweet emotions even two years later. The pain of loss is just as strong, although as days pass I find myself distracted by how life has seemed to continue. I sit here with my 13 month old son napping nearby and my pregnant belly full of kicks by a new son arriving in 15 weeks. How can I be so happy today but so sad about yesterday?

For the first time in months I brought out your box of things. One glance and I began crying - your blankets you were wrapped in sat in sight. The proof you were there, your blood still stains them but your baby smell is gone. I remember your purple lips, your soft skin and that you had your daddy's feet. TWO YEARS. How is it possible it has been this long?

Whenever I pray, I always thank God for you. I thank Him that I was blessed with the daughter I always wanted, that I had a chance to hold you as a baby and not lose you as a miscarriage. I am so thankful that I have pictures of you. You have watched over your daddy and me as we have been blessed with two of your brothers...many more to come I am sure. Not a day goes by that I do not miss you, I will never forget you.

{ To celebrate Kassidy's birthday, we are releasing balloons at 4:16pm, the time she was born, and sharing cake with family at the cemetery. If you cannot attend, please light a candle for Kassidy }

That's how country boys roll! Little brother Steven, 13 months old

September 22, 2014 - Another Rainbow BOY!

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting another BOY! Baby Beau Martin Johnston is growing right on track and weighing in at 9 ounces. He is showing to be perfectly healthy according to my 2nd level ultrasounds at the specialist. Stevie, Steven and I are thrilled! I am almost 19 weeks along with Beau and am happy that my boys will be just 17 months apart.

Another happy announcement: Steven turned 1 year old! We celebrated on September 20th with a party at our house. Steven enjoyed opening his presents and digging into his very own cake. As I reflect on the past year, transitioning from a grief-stricken mother to caring for a rainbow baby who has very much healed my heart, I can't believe the life God has blessed us with. God has a plan for us, and as we see His work in our lives, I am so excited to see what will happen next!

July 11, 2014 - Another Rainbow Baby!!!

Photo: Steven is a big brother! Baby Johnston due Feb 18, 2015!

I've been meaning to post an update for a few weeks now, and I'm finally sitting down to announce that we are expecting another rainbow baby! Steven will be a big brother and Kassidy is surely looking after us again. We've had 2 ultrasounds so far and the baby is growing right on a track with a healthy heart rate of 171. The first trimester, for me, is always very stressful. I don't have the relief of seeing that my baby has a round head quite yet. In addition, Dr. Connors is out on her own maternity leave. She was such a comfort during our journey with Kassidy and also calmed my nerves during my pregnancy with Steven. Going through the fearful first trimester without her is harder than I expected. The doctors I've seen so far don't seem to have a grasp on how I'm used to going about things...such as blood tests to check HCG/progesterone and regular ultrasounds in the beginning to give me peace of mind that a miscarriage is off the table, etc. I still fear a miscarriage since my first pregnancy resulted in one. I'm told Dr. Connors will return in the fall, so I just pray and spend time reflecting on how grateful I am that I have another baby on the way. I have also been thinking about Kassidy a lot. Some nights I just sit in bed awake and remember what it felt like to get her diagnosis, plus what it felt like to hold her for 21 hours. My symptoms this time around have been nearly identical to what I felt with Kassidy...which makes me think 2 things: 1) I suspect we are having a girl and 2) it makes me scared for defects.

Photo: Hello baby:) 8 weeks today!

On August 6th we have an appointment with the specialist (the same doctor we saw for Kassidy's official diagnosis and also for good news that Steven was healthy). At that appointment they will be able to see if this baby is okay, plus screen for several other defects. Only 26 days to go....not that I am counting. I'm taking my prescribed 4mg folic acid, PLUS a regular prental and since my progesterone is a bit low, Prometrium (although I can stop taking that in 6 days).

Nowadays, Steven keeps me busy. He will be 10 months old in a few days, and loves to walk assisted. He will cruise around our furniture all day long....however he doesn't seem interested in crawling whatsoever. He loves orange juice, graham crackers and peanut butter - like Daddy. He also enjoys the pool and the snowman Olaf from Frozen. We've been going to the library for story time for a few weeks now, and he will clap and steal the show when we sing songs. He's turning into quite the explorer. With his birthday coming up in just 2 months, it gets me excited to plan a little party and cake for him.
